It is typical of Levi to walk barefoot in the desert. He is a tough little guy not much bothered by the elements. Even though stepping on goatheads is painful (these are the same thorns that once popped five of our tires) , he refuses to wear shoes. When he gets a couple stuck in his toes, he continues on by walking on his heels. When he gets too many to take another step, he collapses on the ground and yells for help.
After posing for this picture, Tiny complained when Mark pulled out the stickers - he wanted to do it himself. Papa had to stick a few back in!
what kind of crazy pain threshold does this kid have?! I can see future trips to the emergency room! Or as Tiny says (when trying to help me) Call 9-9-1.

Wow, is that little guy tough! I can't imagine having those stickers in your feet.
But then he also tolerates cold very well, one incredible kid!!!

Suz - yes, I'm sure we'll need 991 at some point!
Marsha - I read Levi your comment, he wants you to know they are called goat heads, not stickers!
