Silas recently discovered this spider on our blueberry blossoms. We'd never seen one before, but have since learned that it can change color from yellow to white, depending on what flower it is hunting on. It must of just arrived on the blueberry tree, so Si was able to spot it by it's bright yellow color.
So cool! Will he turn blue?

Silas, what a cool spider! You must have very good eyes to spot him. I've never seen a crab spider before.

He is pretty brave around most bugs, but lately he is starting to be a little afraid of spiders. I think the color of this one was just so interesting that he forgot any fear.

He was bright yellow, Silas said the yellow flower caught his eye, but when he looked closer, it was a spider!
