Earlier this winter, I seriously considered spending $300 for a used pulk so that I could get out and ski with Arlo this winter. I'm so glad I didn't, after renting a pulk at a nordic center recently, I realized that it would be pretty easy to make one. Mark was quickly able to pull together the parts I needed, a couple of long hollow pieces of aluminum (first time I've been grateful for that humongous pile of scrap metal he has been hauling around for years), a padded belt and some rope, which he attached to Arlo's $13 plastic sled and we have a pulk that works just as good as the $300 model!
WOW!! awesome
