Visit to jail

Silas, Levi & I have been anxious to visit the 1811 Old Jail since we read Finest Kind last year.  The book is historical fiction set in Wiscasset, Maine in 1837 and some of the action takes place in the old jail, which is a museum today.  We finally made a visit on a recent rainy day, it was very cool to see this place after reading about & imagining it.

Wow, what an educational adventure. I love that you read a book about it first! When you come to visit us we will take you to the historical prison here. Butch Cassidy was held there!
